The 7th regional workshop was implemented by the consortium on 17 April 2009 at Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province. The workshop was supported by the Department of Environmental Protection, Hebei Province. CDM experts presented on topics regarding national CDM policies, approval procedures, pollution reduction and CDM, current international carbon market status and CDM developments in Hebei Province. Over 120 participants, including national officials from the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and the Ministry of Environmental Protection (MEP), local officials from Heibei authorities, CDM service center, local project owners and key private and public stakeholders attended the workshop.
