The first EU-China CDM Business Facilitation Conference was successfully held in Cologne on 6 May 2008. The Conference was co-organised by the EU-China CDM Facilitation Project, the International Cooperation Centre of the National Development and Reform Commission and German consultancy M&P. More than 130 people from the business sector attended and speakers included officials from the European Commission, European Investment Bank, National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Environmental Protection and representatives from the Shanxi, Shandong and Hebei Regional CDM Centres. The Conference provided an overview of the latest policy developments in CDM in both Europe and China and Regional CDM Centres presented investments opportunities to European investors and developers...
