New EU-China CDM Facilitation Project Team Members
On the first week of December 2008 Jonas Fejes joined the EU-China CDM Facilitation Project as Project Manager and Mr. Philip Thörn joins the team as new deputy Project Manager for IVL Swedish Environmental Institute.
Mr. Jonas Fejes, new Project Manager for the EU-China CDM Facilitation Project, has more than 20 years of experience of project management. He has managed projects in various environmental fields including environmental impact assessment, sustainable development and water quality management.
Mr. Fejes has more than 10 years of experience of various environmental projects in China and is presently active in two Sino-Swedish environmental projects, concerning protection of drinking water and district cooling, in China.
During his professional career Mr. Fejes has held positions in a number of international assignments operated by EU, UN and the World Bank. Mr. Fejes is also a well known and appreciated lecturer in Sweden and abroad and is frequently interviewed in the media.
Mr. Philip Thörn, new Deputy Project Manager for the EU-China CDM Facilitation Project, holds a Master of Science from the University of Lund. He has previously been working for the Invest in Sweden Agency, the Ministry for the Environment and the Ministry of Defence.
Mr. Thörn has primarily been working with environmental affairs including climate change mitigation, climate change adaptation and extreme weather. During his professional career he has participated in a number of multilateral and bilateral cooperation and summits on global climate change and sustainable development.
