From August 2007 to March 2008, EU-China CDM Facilitation Project implemented a series of training workshops on CDM accreditation, validation, verification for Chinese Applicant Entities (AEs) and potential AEs. The workshops provided the comprehensive knowledge to AEs regarding to the UN accreditation procedures and administration, validation process of the CDM project cycle, initial and periodical UN Verification Procedures, guidelines on UN verification requirements, etc. At the same time, AEs’ needs and requirements on the further traineeships were assessed based on the feedbacks from the workshops.
