As part of the event “CDM in China – Opportunities for Sino-German Cooperation” financed by the German Federal Ministry for Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety, the EU-China Facilitation Project and the German Delegation of Commerce and Industry co-organised a working group session focusing on “CDM and Energy Efficiency in Buildings”.

The working group, chaired by Dr. Marco Gemmer of the Delegation of the European Commission to China and Mongolia, was held on November 8th 2007 and presented a wide range of speakers on new issues related to improving energy efficiency in buildings and the potential of developing CDM projects in this sector.
